A carved stone stelae from the Zapotec culture, to be found in the archealogical site of Monté Albán near to Oaxaca de Juaréz, the capital of the state of Oaxaca in Mexico. There are differing explanations of this carving, a "danzante" or dancer, a captive of war, and probably more, the beauty may not be found in the explanation.
