A colonial window in the hot Oaxacan street. Oaxaca is a typical colonial city in Mexico. This painting shows the almost solid difference between light and shade in this type of climate. The adobe walls of the building are flaking due to the sometimes extreme change in climate in the night and day, and the heavy rain that falls between June and August.
