The larger versions and details of the paintings that open in new windows are large files, so please be patient. Colors and quality are as true as possible given the digital medium used here. However effects of depth are fairly acurate. All paintings once fully dry are coated with a thin layer of damar varnish for protection.
All of the below paintings are exclusively of Mexican landscape subjects, painted near to where the artist lives - Iztapalapa, Mexico DF, only one (after the storm) belongs to another subject area. The Mexican landscape painting, Popocatépetl from the Paso de Cortés (the first oil painting in the list), was over 1 years work and was painted using many carefully painted thin layers of oil paint. |

The Warrior,
Popocatépetl from Paso de Cortés Detailed oil painting of Popocatépetl with the view taken from the Cortés Pass. The picture was painted during a time of volcanic activity, for this reason, the volcano is devoid of snow and just the glaciers are visible.
